Activities and Beekeeping Information

The Rohe Bee Ranch has many ongoing activities throughout the year. Winter is a time for building and maintaining woodenware (hives and supers etc.) In the Spring there are the bee yards to attend to. In early Spring and into the Summer months there are always swarms to catch and honeybees that have settled in someone’s house need to be removed. Late Summer brings the honey harvest. And early Fall always has an opportunity for making a presentation on Bees and Beekeeping to schools and groups in between bottling all that honey and making candles.
